Hi..question for those of you who have gotten circuit city cards and app'd online..I just tried to do this and then it got the part of the app that it asks you security questions about things on your credit report..

the 1st one was saying i opened a mortgage around 2005, which i didnt so i chose none of the above, i do have a mortgage but it was from 2001

the 2nd question was asking the dollar amt it said to the above question, so since i answered none of the above i did the same for the 2nd..

the rest were all correct things on my credit report and i answered those..i have a sneaky suspicioun that i was give the  7-10 pending review bc of this..

so should i call them or do i wait or does it matter..??

I got the exact same thing when I apped 3 days ago.  I have no mortgage at all so selected "none of the above".  Got the same 7 to 10 day message.  I figured it was a denial.  There was an 800 number in the message, I didn't save it. If you did you should call and then you can let us both know the results.

I applied online back in May and had the same questions.  I received a response saying I was approved for the CC card.  I decided to go the store the next day to see if I could get my account number and make a purchase.  The manager contacted the credit department and got my account number.  I spoke to a lady, answered a few questions and was all set.

The strange thing was, about a week after that I received a letter from Chase requesting me to call 800 937-1294 so that they could "continue to process my application."

I guess the letter was sent immediately after I applied, before I went to the store.

Anyhow, I got my card within a few weeks.

Circuit City is Chase I believe, and at least in my VA experience they have pulled EQ always.

However, that's just me. Chase seems to pull at random. Two people living together applying for the same card could have different results.

Circuit cty pulled EQ for me and i had the window to close once completing my app a lady called me and said you were onlline doing your cc app i was like yeah!!!!! and she asked me some dumb sec q then bam i was approved got my card and bought a pretty pink samsung dig.  cam walla.........GL  also those q have to be answered in order to pull the correct report!
