discover not showing Cashback

I made a purchase on 1/1/20 for $100 worth of groceries w/my discover it. my statement cut on the 4th and I didn't earn any cashback... did anyone else experience the same?

The purchase may have still been pending when payment was due or statement cut. The CB will be included on your next statement.

With Discover, I get my cash back in one lump at the beginning of the month every month, even though my statement cuts on the 24th.

I noticed this a few days ago as well. I’ve had several traditional grocery store purchases post, but It says I’ve earned $0 for grocery, but shows how much I’ve earned In the 1% category.

Silly question, but I assume you activated the quarter?

also if it does not show up on your next statement, I would call.

This is what really bugs me with Discover. Unless I am not seeing it, the only place to see what cashback you earned is on your final statement. Even then, you don't know which purchase got what.... just 1% vs 5% cashback amounts.

I like how I can click each transaction with Chase to see what it earned. Even BoA lets me go to a rewards tab to see what each purchase gained.

I’m having the the same issue - only the 1% is showing up.

You can go to the to menu, scroll down to the rewards page and pull up 5% Cashback Bonus, and scroll down to the current quarter and shows a daily running total of 5% and 1% you’ve earned for the quarter.
