Now I realized it's not very many in comparison. I just applied for the Citi Hilton Hhonor Reserve and was approved, pulled EX. 1 Mortgage pull in each of the 3 CRA. Most recent 2 on EQ is for AT&T Cell Phone and Capital One 360 Checking (boo).

And here I am worried about 13 total lol.
Impact is going to vary with one's credit. Inquiries will affect those with weaker credit profiles more than those with stronger credit profiles. X can easily be too much for one and negligible for the next.

I don't really think I am at any sort of risk for being declined credit or AA on current accounts because of it, I just like to try to keep them as low as possible. Recent app spree added 5 so I'm just being cautious.

What if during mortgage shopping you end up with quite a few pulls? How does that affect what creditors do during a credit card approval/denial?

Citi: over 25
Chase: over 25
Amex: over 25
All were approved, but I think they may focus on last 6 months. I try not to have more than 6 in last 6 months on any CR+1, same here
Are you guys serious that you both had 20+ on EACH of the CB?
I am really getting inspired. I was feeling bad for 11+ and worrying about my future App approval chances (Especially after hearing chase closing stories)

I had 21 last weekend and got approved for four new cards: Sapphire Preferred, AMEX Gold Premier, Citi Thankyou Preferred, and an American Eagle Visa upgrade. Now I have 25 or 26... I was approved for the Barclays Black Card but didn't want the insane $500 fee.
Companies don't question my inquiries any more.
Woww!! would you mind sharing your AoA?
