I've had a secured card with capital one for a year. I've always paid on time. I've only seen my credit.jump ten points. Should I try to get another cc? Thanks
it depends on what util is reporting for the month. if its your only tradeline then yes i would add at least one other card maybe 2. i started with 3 cc's and you can see my score jump in my siggy.

I am currently at 639 - 605 - 617
Thank you all
have you looked into a store card at all? walmart isnt a bad idea if you shop there alot plus you can benefit from the free tu fico provided every month
Would point out OP is quoting 3 scores. Are these FICO scores?
A store card or perhaps a secured card by way of BOA, USAA, Cap One, etc.

That depends on a lot of things. How many CC do you have now? Are you building new credit or are you rebuilding with negatives on your report?

it would be more help to you if you start your own thread and list your current ficos along with the cards you have with limits, inquiries on each reports, any lates or derogs on your reports, and what cards you want to seek
