Yep Youve Got it!!! I was done the same way But I had no previous acct! So Im waiting on my BP gas card yahoooooooooooooooooooooo I love Chase!!!! They sent me a letter requesting a utl bill to verify my identity i sent that off so i should recieve my card soon hopefully by next week I applied May 13 so 30days is true!!!

I, too, received the application under review message.

I just called the number above to check status. Turns out I'd been declined...for the same items that I'd been declined for before (old items), plus lots of inquiries.

I explained those items to the analyst, and also explained that my inquiries were not the result of credit seeking, but more credit weeding and re-seeding with better card crops.

I told her that some of my cards had been rebuilder cards that were not growing with me and so I was seeker better and leaving behind the worst.

All in all...because I'm still new to them with the one they gave me previously (April) and my Amexes are still not showing yet....she approved me for $1K. It's not mega, by any means, but it matches my Delta... and it's handle-able.

and...it's CHASE. Besides, the other one they gave me is 2.5K. So, for these to be on recon...and the second in a month, without them knowing me well, in this current economic climate, Chase and I can definitely hold hands.

I have a chase platinum card already but it only has a $200 cl and they won't up it but I have a flawless history with them. It sounds like I will be approved, what do you think?

Yep, You will receive your card in about 5 days...lol.  That's the same thing they told me and everyone else who reconned and got approved.  Congrats on your new Chase card!!!!!!

so once i do receive the card and I call to activate, should a request a cli on both of my cards?

just updated TC report, Chase pulled EQ for me - 591 FICO, crazy

Well I called Chase to recon and the first person said sorry that it was denied and there was nothing he could do.  Hung up and waited about 5 mintues and called back and got an extremely friendly women.  She asked me why I filed BK and about my income.  I answered all of her questions and she told me that it had to be reviewed by a manager.

I called the next day to check the status and was told that it is still under manual review with the manager.

Has anyone ever gotten that before?????

I'm in Chase purgatory too. They said they denied me the first time because they couldn't verify my info, that they had sent me a letter but I didn't respond. I told them I never got any letter. They resent--I got something to fill out but it looked more like a new app than a verification. It was more of an invitation to apply, and didn't make any reference to my previous app, other than a reference number. I sent that in, and now I just get a message that they will let me know within 2 weeks. I can't get anything more than that out of the CSR's, either.

I told one woman that I have an error that is being corrected on my EQ, and she said "We usually pull EX." Of course, I can see now that they pulled EQ. I'm going to be really P***ed if I have to recon again.
