returned item after using chase offer

So i purchased a phone on visible and the chase offer for $25 triggered. however i plan to return the phone because I realize i want a different color... How will chase handle me returning the item and the $25 chase offer that is redeemed now? thanks

There's a good chance they'll claw back the $25 credit. They might not, but I'd still count on it happening.

If you want to avoid a claw back i would see if an exchange can be done as opposed to a return.

If Visible treats as an exchange, then it shouldn't trigger clawback. If they treat as a return, then I'd expect clawback.

When I was a manager at VZW, color change would only be exchange, while completely different phone would be return.
