I am dealing with this on this fine morning. Account established July 2024. Credit limit increase Jan 10? 2025. Large atypical charge utilizing full $15k limit ~ Jan 13, 2025. They reported the credit line use early. BUT they did not report credit line increase early. Nice 21 point drop in my EQ and EX scores. Paid in full (Feb 3)a week+ before the statement date (Feb 12, 2025). Payment clears and posts to account (Feb 05, 2025) but available credit limit to use does not update. Credit limit still reflects $15,000 limit. Increased credit limit not yet reported to bureaus. Payment in full also not exported to bureaus. Now Feb 07, 2025, a message on the account page online gives the "Problem with your Acc't, please call immediately" message. They need to verify my identity. They request a photo ID and a utility bill with my name and address. I am sending it off overnight service as they tell me it is a 14-21 day review period after they receive it...I need the use of this account for the added 5% off Lowes purchases when using your Lowe's account. We are up to our eyeballs in an entire home renovation (due to flood not by choice) and we need to keep cycling big purchases. I included a letter of intent explaining the urgent need of a Lowe's account during this insurance funded renovation of our flood damaged property and asked for expeditious processing. Do not know if it will help, but worth the old college try.
