what could be added and what do i need to get there.. im showing scores of 730 and 740currently.
relevant history of revolving credit since june of 2013
student loans since 2007.
thanks for the help.
Maybe a Chase card. Have you done the 3x CLI on your BCE? You've had it long enough
I'd go for the Citi Dividend next. I find that the 5% categories don't overlap with Discover. When I had the Chase Freedom, I found that it frequently overlapped with my Discover, and I much preferred Discover's customer service. Whatever card you decide to go for, I'd wait at least 3 more months.
EDIT: What are you looking for in a card, ie low interest rate, rewards, etc?
chase im pretty sure will deny me. as they have 2 months ago. so maybe 3 more months will suffice.
i tried the bce 3x they denied me. instead i got a 3x cli on my discover =)
i dont know if its a bad idea to try chase again. and citi hmmmm they did approve me.

I find it odd that you were declined for Chase but approved for AMEX. Do you have any baddies? How many inquiries do you have? What is your AAoA?
no baddies. i ran a lot of money through my green card and was a member for 2 months with amex before being approved for bce
my aaoa is around 3 years but thats with student loans. without my credit history is since mid june of 2013.
also i have 3 inqueiries currently. due to a hp from discover the other day for the 3x cli.
is two months too soon to try again? or shall i wait more.
Sallie Mae World Mastercard.

It's actually Barclays. And with an AAoA of 3 years and no baddies, I'm surprised Chase didn't approve you. What card did you app for?
