So, my TU score is only 766 and it hasn't moved since the last time I went on a mini app spree according to Barclays. I'm not sure if it's just slow to update or something since shouldn't it increase my score a few points each month? Now on to what I should consider apping for next. My current cards: Chase Freedom (11.4k) 1.5 month, AMEX Blue Cash Everyday (2k) 1.5 month, Sallie Mae (2.2k) 1.5 month, US Bank Cash + (5k) 1.5 month, BOA BBR (700) 1 yr 9 m. Since I'm a student my spending is pretty low per month (~$100-200/month). I was thinking maybe Discover IT, Quicksilver, and/or Citi Double cash. How long should I wait till I apply again? Thanks.

you should apply for nothing, off to the garden for 4.5 months.
to fill your time, when your Blue Cash Everyday is 61 days old, ask for a 3x CLI. after your Discover card is 3 months see if a SP CLI is availible if so go for it, not sure if Discover will give one at 3 months, you may have to wait till the 6 month mark.
In looking at your cards
I have questions
You have a Freedom so why do you need an Discover?
You have a great mix of cards and some are just 1.5 months old why do you need more so soon?
Just curious

+1 Especially since you are currently only spending 100-200 a month why do you want more credit than you need at this point it wouldn't be for util.

Ok well I want to have a clean credit report when I graduate as I might need to take out loans or what not so I wish to to take my hard pulls as early as possible for the cards I want.
Then right now you need to sit on your hands and garden.
Those loans will come easy down the road with great scores, good history with great lenders under your belt already.
I might add with less HP's at that point. IMHO
I believe what most are saying is that you have a nice line up as it is and the Discover It doesnt seem like a necessary addition for you to take a HP. Gardening what you have will improve your scores over time.
Not sure why the Discover It would be necessary if you have the Freedom card unless you want a card with no FTF or just want to establish a relationship with Discover. Its hard but I would heed the advice of those with more experience above Good luck

Do you mean hp now or then? If I take hp now it'll drop off when I graduate in 2 years. That's what I was thinking but feel free to give me some advice since I'm just starting to build my credit history
No more HP's for at least a year....pay your bills on time....don't spend on what you don't need ....increase your scores and AAoA and you will be glad you did in 2 years when you finish school..
You'll probably be in the top 20% with excellent credit exiting college if not higher
