$150k-$250k sounds good to me. Makes keeping under 4% UTL so much easier. lol. Someone above said 8 BoA's. Not a good move. Try to spread your cards out between banks. If they decide to do someone to your credit it could effect all your accounts with them including CLD's especially if you are hunting a $500k CL.

Of course this question was how high is enough. lol. I would gather however many "high achievers" do have around $100k in revolving credit. I thought people with great credit only had about $50k or so, I was surprised to see some people had triple digits on CLs automatically upped over the years of flawless credit. I would imagine income plays a heavy factor in that too.
Oh, I would want, lets see... $300k. Yep. Any more than that my score would drop. And getting that much credit and keeping it in revolving takes some effort too. Has to be a bunch of smaller credit lines under $50k. So I'd have all my credit lines between $40-$49k to prevent them from being classified as installments.
