Arrow is reporting the TL completely wrong on all 3 CR's. It shows as settled for less than full and that collections continued thru 2007. I saved all the paperwork they sent me showing it was paid in full at the start of 2006. So, sent a follow-up letter with copies enclosed.
Asset Acceptance I'm disputing via the CRAs and hoping Asset decides not to verify.
Capital One I'm disputing as well due to some small inaccuracies.
Mazda American Credit gets another goodwill and I'll try to find an exec online to send one to as well.
That's all for now. I hope to report more progress next month. =)
Asset Acceptance Collection (PIF)- Don't appear to be verifying the paid collection. Deleted from TU and expecting deletion from other two as it's listed as in dispute still.
EQ Fico (Scorewatch) up 24 points since I started.
The Bad:
Capital One C/O (Settlement)- Verified and corrected the small inaccuracies on all three CRA reports. Another GW sent.
Arrow Financial Collection (PIF- Reported as settlement)- No response to my letter yet. Sent another with firmer language (ITS).
Mazda American Credit (1 30 day late)- No response to GW letter yet but I'll give it some more time.
That's all for now..Another update when I make some more progress.
Don't be afraid to call and check on the status of your GWs! All the GWs I've gotten, I called and kept tabs on. Didn't just mail them off & forget about them. If I get a "no" letter back or a "no" over the phone after my GW is received, THEN I send off another one
Yes. I also disputed an inaccuracy on Equifax as it was listed with a balance and open. But, I'm thinking it was the goodwill letter that resulted in deletion due to it being removed from all three reports.
Also, it was rather old, due to fall off early 2009 so maybe that helped.
If you don't mind me asking, could you post the address you used for your Care Credit GW letter and/or the contents of the GW letter (suitably censored, of course). If you don't want to post, you could PM me.
