So according to CK and CS, 6 inqs are gone, including my recent mortgage inq from back in March. None are two years old yet so I am baffled to as why they would fall off the report?
I know you can technically bump inqs off if you have enough soft pulls done, but I haven't done anymore myself other than my usual weekly CK and occasional CS check. The only other thing I can think of is my 5 years of opt-out of credit card offers has recently expired and banks have soft pulled a bunch. Anyone have any idea to what could make all of them fall off at once? Other than paying and checking a real report to see if they are gone too, I can only speculate and I can't see both CK & CS as reporting them gone from multiple beaurus if they really were not. I guess it could be an error or something but I just haven't had it happen before where something caused any hard inq to fall off early, let alone one that isn't even 3 months old.

Inquiries are a lot like my ex. I paid the price for them, I did my time. Just when I think they are gone, they come back.
Your inquiries didn't go away permanently. They will be back in short time. This thread will be moved to General Credit where there are about 8 other threads on same topic.
It's a glitch in the TU system.....I had 19 fall off, and my score shot up 60 points.....I know it will fix itself. Just don't be surprised when the inquiries reappear.

I'll take an inquiry coming back over the Ex coming back. An inquiry coming back might cost me a few points, but the Ex coming back is going to cost me some serious cold hard cash! :-)

LOL...I dont have one of those to worry about, but it's funny anyhow...
We really need a sticky on this one. It may have passed "I paid off my loan and my score dropped" as most posted.
