I wanted to look at recent soft inquiries on my Equifax report, so I went to AnnualCreditReport.com to do that.
While I was in the process of entering the info (I forget exactly which page, sorry), there was a banner at the top of the page which I believe was to 'install' an Equifax app (??).
I thought to myself, "I didn't know there was an Equifax app", but I was in a bit of a hurry and quickly just proceeded without paying much attention.
Later I went to the Play Store to find the app and as I previously knew, there is no Equifax app there.
So if there is no EQ app, then what the heck did I see on the ACR website??
I just remember it being a big red banner at the top of the page, it said Equifax on it, and there was a spot that read "INSTALL".
I do use the Experian app all the time, and the Transunion app is crappola, so I usually access the EQ and TU reports through their respective webpages via Chrome.
PS.
Anyone with Citi account actually get an update on their FICO score since April?
That's what I was trying to check on in the first place.
My BK7 finally came off my EQ report well over a month ago, but Citi won't give me a credit limit increase for the last 2 years citing the BK on my reports. They also won't do a fresh soft pull, but instead rely on the current report on file, which is still from April.
Now it looks like they won't even update it this month?
So frustrating 😠...
After some Googling...
It seems that EQ has their "Lock & Alert" which I think may be for paid services, but even if not, it doesn't give access to credit reports, and has horrible ratings for being buggy
They also used to have a "MyEquifax" app several years ago, but after a major data breach, they shut the app down and never brought it back.
Maybe the banner was for the Lock & Alert app. 🤷

Yes but this month they were extra late. 5/28 is the date they supposedly got the report, but it didn't show up on profiles until just 2 days ago.
The timing for updates to this months score was identical between my account and my spouse's account.
It is what it is I guess. At least it finally got updated, and now my CRA and credit account scores are all finally where they should be.

I also experienced a delay with my Citi FICO8 Bankcard score update. Both the date of the score and the date the update appeared in my online account were several days later than usual.

Same here. Last month showed 4/23, now 5/28. Looking over the last 6 month history, it has been anywhere from the 20th to the 26 of the month. In all cases It hasn't shown up in my account until at least a week after the score date.
