HUH?? EVERY time a new charge posts ??????? That is absolutely insane. I mean really, who does that?
When did you open your account?
I will rarely ever use this account again if I see that happening. The purpose of reporting to the bureaus is not to report "purchases." Creditors are supposed to report overall monthly outcomes. Something about reporting all my individual purchases seems to violate my privacy.
Now that you mention this, Gonzozap, I noticed that my Amazon, which is also Synchrony, last reported to the Credit Bureaus on 7-29-19, right after my Subscribe and Save was delivered to my home. It used to post after the statement cut but it was never reported to the bureaus till the following due date. My due date is the 5th and my statement cuts on the 12th. Strange things going on at Synchrony. eh?
That indeed is weird. I use my Amazon all the time and I have not noticed this happening. Whenever I use the card, I immediately log on to my bank to pay it. However, I did use my CareCredit card a few days ago and the balance appeared on my report very quickly. It was my 1st time using the card so I don't know my closing date yet. This policy by Synchrony must have a strategic purpose. One thing it does is it prevents a consumer from having an account show a zero balance. I bet Synchrony won't do the opposite and report payments almost overnight.
Goona keep my eye on all my Synch accounts. My Paypal still hasn't shown up yet on credit.
@gonzozap
First time I noticed that behavior from Amazon, so I paid it off, along with Care Credit and not using
them until the dust settles. Changed my payment method to my Citibank Card, on Amazon, as I know
they will not post till the following month.
As far as Paypal Credit goes, I have not noticed it on my credit reports either so another month closer
to paying it off. There is so much speculation, they MAY report, they will only report if you pay late, etc, who
knows at this point. I know new PayPal Credit accounts are getting reported. Wouldn't it be nice if the older
accounts are "grandfathered" in and they won't report? Remains to be seen.
We'll know for certain in the next month or so

Hmmmm so you contacted PayPal about it? And they gave you an answer? That’s odd, since PPC is now managed by Synchrony, I wouldn’t expect PayPal proper to know about that sort of stuff. I’d put more stock in what Synchrony says, but please let us know if it ends up reporting!...
It was actually a Synchrony rep in the chat who told me that. He/she said they will report everything good or bad.

Oh okay, thanks for the clarification. So has anything appeared yet? Very interested as previous info suggested that they won’t report before September, so if yours reports then that info would be wrong
^
there are 2 groups. Those that opened the Credit Line in the last 2 months are already reporting. It started right away as most Lines do
the other group has had their Credit Line prior to May 2019. And ours are not yet reporting, but we expect them to at the end of Aug.
i will I’ll post up here as soon as mine appears.

2 September and mine hasn't reported yet... I'm guessing it'll happen after the next statement cuts...
My statement cut on 8/23 and nothing has reported on mine yet either. I'm thinking you're right and
it won't be till the next statement. Holding out hope that the older accounts will be "grandfathered"
in and they won't report unless its negative. I'm sure we'd all like a little more time to pay this balance down!
A gal can hope, can't she?
I just signed up for Paypal credit and it is showing Limit and Usage on my Credit Report.
^. Yes. Because it is a new account
this thread is primarily to track when the old accounts, first start reporting.
