Anyone elses Walmart sc showing closed Experian?

Walmart Synchrony showed up on my Experian report as closed and they dinged my credit score 25 points. I've filed a dispute and I'll post the outcome here. My other reports are also showing the Synchrony account as closed, but with no impact on my score—as it should be.

I just noticed on my credit monitoring that it showed 2 closed accounts due to switching to Capitol one and took a 20 pt hit on my credit. I didn't close them, they switched so why do I have to take a hit on my credit. I've spent years on my credit and just got it to 805 then this.

What do you use to monitor your credit?

I get alerts from most of the credit card company's when something has changed as well as Experian credit monitoring.

If you have access to your online Cap One/Walmart account and the card is working, it's probably something that will be corrected by them.
A lot of people have had their accounts show up open, then closed, opened again.
It was a huge transfer so some snags are to be expected.
Hang in there, it will get fixed.

@Anonymous, I've merged your thread with the existing topic regarding the Walmart SYNCB > Capital One transition.

Just wanted to clarify, though, that this only impacts Walmart CC accounts, not Sam's Club accounts. The latter will remain with Synchrony since they just renewed their partnership agreement not long ago.
