Authorized User Question

My husband and I are separated. I am an authorized user on one of his citi cards that he has nearly maxed out. I want to remove myself from as an AU, but I don't want him to know. Will  he be notified if I removed myself? I have called citi and have gotten 2 different responses. Thanks

Re: Authorized User Question

It is very easy to check as the primary card holder that who is on AU.

Most likely he would receive an email or msg if there are changes made to his account!

Reporting a maxed out CC especially as AU is a big NO, NO regardless of what is the status of relationship.

This is one of the main reason business accounts don't report AU to individuals credit profiles!

Re: Authorized User Question

Separated or not. Get off the card. Call Citi explain the situation and ask to be removed. Hopefully you all will work it out. If not. Least it wont affect you any longer. Good Luck!
