I have a bogus collection from a collection agency listed as "RPM", listing the original creditor as "For Pallino".
The only reason I found out about this is because I purchased my credit reports and found it on there. It lists it as a joint credit account, of which I've never had in my life, which is how I know it's GOT to be bogus.
I've never even been sent any letters or anything from these people trying to collect, they've never even called me trying to collect. How do I get rid of these scammers?
Thanks in advance!

So I just looked again and it looks like this bogus "new collection" is set to drop off 4 months from now. Should I just leave it alone and see what happens to avoid what could happen if I start the whole investigation process?
