Broke 600 :)

I just pulled my TU report on April 1st, but since then, Cap1 sold my CO, a collection was removed (not bonded in TX), and a new account was added... after debating it with myself, I decided to pull my score now and see what it was even though the other wasn't even two weeks old yet.

My TU Score went from 495 on Feb 2, 2008 to 605 as of today Smiley Happy
Over 100 points in just over 2 months.

I'm not jumping for joy yet since I'm paranoid waiting for whoever bought my debt to contact me.  I do however plan to pay off the deleted collection through the OC in the next month or two to make sure it doesn't come back.

Thank you all so very very much for all your help, past and present cuz I sure as heck ain't done yet! lol

I'm gonna cry if it turns out my disputed LVNV account (it is listed as a collection account on all reports) isn't being figured into my score because of the disputing.  I believe that so long as it's listed as a collection account it is though.... I hope haha, I'd hate for the disputes to end and then for my score to drop!

Don't get the urge to apply for everything. If felt invinsible when I hit 600 for the first time. 700 is right around the corner for you.

Re: Broke 600 :)

Congratulations. That 600 can seem like a long uphill battle, when you have been mired in the 500s for so long.
