Can a CRA do this?

I disputed something that EX verified and TU deleted, well, this is what EQ pulled,

I disputed it, they changed the entire TL to show a satifsfactory account instead of deleting it (I have a copy of the account showing all of this) and then turned around and changed all the info back to a negative TL but never sent me the results of the dispute.

I guess the 46 points my score went up when they changed the info will be taken away.

Re: Can a CRA do this?

NOTHING a CRA does will ever surprise me again. Did you get on the phone to get an explanation? Do you have hard proof that the change was made?

Re: Can a CRA do this?

No I have not called them, OH YES I have proof I have COPIES.

What are the chances that they will say we changed it during my dispute then we verified it or we made a mistake.

What can I do about this?

Re: Can a CRA do this?

My guess is that chances are about 100% that they will say that it was verified.

What to do about it? Let's see what others, who have experienced this bliss have to say.

Re: Can a CRA do this?

I have no proof of it being verified.

Thanks for your input, at least I am not the only one that thinks this is wrong

Re: Can a CRA do this?

When you say that EQ changed it to a positive TL and then back to a negative TL, what exactly changed?

Are you saying it was changed because you got a score increase or because specifics on the account was actually changed?

Did you dispute online, over the phone, or by mail? What date did you dispute?

Re: Can a CRA do this?

This seems to be the result of the dispute, as it was well within the 30 day timeframe. The TL is taken out of the scoring model while in dispute.

I mistook your original post to mean that the dispute was completed and then they came along and changed everything up.

Re: Can a CRA do this?

My score is going to drop isn't it?

I still haven't gotten anything from them as far as the results,

TU deleted it and of course EX verified it.

I wonder how TU deleted it and the others didn't?

Re: Can a CRA do this?

Your score could drop back to where it was before the dispute.

If they got your dispute on November 6th, I would wait until about the 16th for a response from them.

If no response by then, I would contact them and find out why. I would also send a MOV.
