Since I am blocked from disputing online Transunion says it's error 219 and a special department had to call. Yet I keep missing their call and they don't leave a message. Why all the trouble to restore my access?
You might want to share some context. Why are you blocked from disputing online? Is it due to you freezing TU, or some other reason?
I've had credit freezes before but none are active now. Why should that prevent me from disputing a negative tradeline online? I can login for everything else. Just the dispute utility says "We're unable to complete your request online". They also refused my dispute by mail because the suspected it was a credit repair agency! So I'm effectively blocked from all disputing except by phone. And by phone,

That definitely sounds shady. I'd send correspondence to the CFPB. It also wouldn't hurt to send a letter to Transunion Corporte. It's your right to dispute. I wonder how Ms y other folks are getting this "error" ?
