I recently removed a freeze on my TU file but the Cap One credit tracker still reports a freeze. I've check other SP sites on TU and it does not show a freeze. Just looking to confirm that the credit tracker from Cap One is not a real-time ,on-demand view into your credit report.

You are correct, it is not a real-time, on-demand view into your credit report. I feel it pulls from CK, as my scores always match between the two. I just froze my reports, and CK does not show it is frozen, but Cap One does.

What are the "other SP sites on TU" that one can use to check? Thanks.
The Cap One tracker pulls info only once every month. It is reasonable to expect that anything that happens in between will only get updated next month. For me, monthly updates have matched between CO Tracker and CK.
Not so much for me..between CO and CK..they're usually off by 5 - 30+ points.

My Capitalone credit tracker score has beem 700 since they offered the program earlier this year.
The score does not change for me.
The most interesting thing though is that there is a charge off from Von Maur on my Equifax credit report from 5 years, it does not report to TU or EX. The charge off is paid and is 5 years old but it shows up on closed accounts under the Capitalone Credit Tracker TU score.
Also, my credit tracker only lists half of my cards, saying my biggest problem is my utilization which is at 1% across all 3 CRA's. I deactivated my credit karama account and do not have acess to it until 10/1/14... so it will be interesting to compare once I am finally let back in to CK.
but I think the capitalone CT is a waste of time. I try a million different scenarios, nothing, no score change. but yet I am excited to see it update lol.

Cant trust credit tracker or credit karma. as both of scores are exactly the same. the problem unlike with other people my scores there are running about 60 points higher than my fico score. which sucks.
example my credit tracker score says my score is 782 how the hel.
my real tu fico is only 731. and that just changed this month. it was 708 at the beginning of the month. so i have no faith. i have seen others where their real fico is 60 points higher than credit tracker and credit karma.
what gives. i only have 1 small collection. 291 dollars brighthouse. that is 4 years old and paid. it was paid 5 months ago. so maybe credit tracker is confused. my fico dropped at time 30 points but have since recovered. im ready to delete both. credit tracker and credit karma

they update it monthly....

It's weird my CT tracker score is 30 pts less than my fico...so weird.
What's weird about it. Since it is not even close to a real score. My score there is. 70 points higher than my fico tu. It's useless. If only a lender would use it.
