Cap1 Auto Loan question - Closed Acct

I have some questions on how my EQ credit report is reading.  I am likely seeing something incorrectly or misinterpreting what I am seeing. I have a closed auto account with Cap1.  Account is paid and closed, last reported 09/2013.  On my actual EQ CR from 03/2017, the report says "NOT_MORE_THAN_FOUR_PAYMENTS_PAST_DUE" in Account Status.  On my actual EQ CR from today (01/2018), the report says "PAYS 91-120 DAYS" in Account Status.  Why are these different (but basically the same thing in different words)?

Here is the second part of what I don't quite understand.  I am looking at the 81 month payment history on both reports.  It has NR for every month until 04/2012 (30d), and then NR up until 01/13 - 09/13 (in order:  30, 30, 30, 30, 60, 30, 30, 60).  I understand that a creditor has no obligation to report to credit bureaus and they cannot be forced to report payments made.  But why am I seeing "pays 91-120 days" without seeing any 90 - 120d lates reflected in my 81-month payment history?

I don't know my actual payment history.  While it is a joint account with my spouse, I couldn't actually tell you when payments were made.  This was during a time in our marriage that I did not actively engage in our finances at all, other than to buy groceries.  DH is not to blame, we share that fault equally.  Just laying out the background and context because I truly don't remember.

Re: Cap1 Auto Loan question - Closed Acct

Your credit report includes both a Current Status, and a Payment Rating status.

An account, while delinquent, will have a Current Status reflecting its level of delinquency.  However, Current Status reflects no historical status.  It simply is a snapshot of the status as of that reporting.

Once an account is paid back into good standing/closed, it then has a Current Status of paid or pays as agreed.

However the level of delinquency prior to return to a non-delinquency Current Status is retained in an additional code called your Payment Rating, which would be the highest level of account delinquency.

Are you reading the Current Status or the Payment Rating?

I am reading the "Current Status" box, which says "Pays 91-120 Days" on my newest CR.  C1.JPG

Re: Cap1 Auto Loan question - Closed Acct

Current status is not dependent upon prior payment history.

It is a snapshot only of the status as of their last reporting, and should be updated to Paid.

File a dispute with the CRA and get it corrected.

Re: Cap1 Auto Loan question - Closed Acct

The current status will reflect the worst status you ever had. So sometime in the past it was 120 days past due. It will reflect you are up to date now but account won’t be in good standing and will forever reflect a negative account unless you get a special rehabilitation on a student loan. If youve had the account long enough you may have more history than the 81 months they show to you.

It isn’t showing more history than I can see. The account was opened in 04/2008. I can see from 04/2008 until it was closed. The screenshot is in an above post of exactly what I’m seeing.
