My experience with Cap 1 is they'll report the total of my posted balance plus pending transactions as of 5pm eastern time on my closing date (doesn't matter if closing is on a weekday or weekend).

I always thought they all reported according to what the statement shows but it seems they dont do it that way
with us bank, I kept it at a zero balance longer and got lucky and it showed zero on the reports. Us bank told me the reporting date could be any date they choose and wasn't a snap shot of each statement
It's pretty well documented on here that US Bank is one of those outliers that reports your balance at the end of the month, not the balance at statement cut. Don't listen to the garbage their CSRs told you.
It's not end of the month, it's balance on the last business day of the month that gets reported.
@learningcredit54 Yep, best thing is to call them . . . that's odd!!!

Yes, sorry. Last business day of the month.
My point is that it's not "any date they chose" as the CSRs put it.
So this situation just got even stranger. They just reported AGAIN (24 hours later).
Although no ding on the report (Equifax atleast) I am truly not understanding whats going on.

Have you called and spoken with them yet?
Just got off the phone with them and they said I should initiate a dispute because those numbers aren't matching with their system and the statements. The thing is disputes in the past have had my cards blocked so I am at a standstill not sure what I should do. I may hold off to see the next statement cutoff and what is reported. Just PIF right now and will not charge anything until 3 days after statement date.

@learningcredit54 wrote:Good afternoon, so I am having an issue with Capital One SavorOne and the balances they are reporting. I recently saw that they reported a balance of 723.00 to my Equifax however I pay my card in full before statement date. Has any forum member had similiar issues with them?
Also, it seems that the prior month they reported a 132.00 when once again I PIF PRIOR to statement date. My payments owed are 0.00 on each statement. I pay WELL before statement date and dont use the card until new statement cycle has ran a few days.
Haven't experienced with Cap1 but 2 months ago my Disco statement was Zero balance and a pending 21 dollars showed up when reported to the CRAs. The 21 dollars was also stated as posted charges after last statement.

A month ago I had a $23 charge initiated at 11pm on my statement closing date (a Saturday FWIW) with Discover. My statement had a 0 balance with no acknowledgement of it but they reported it anyways.
