In hindsight, I really think that's what it was. After I contacted them the 2nd time to ask why they weren't reporting, they finally did (the first week of November!), and now August, Sept. and Oct. are all showing on my reports. Sure wish they'd just been honest about it with all of us who called to ask. Seems they could have let everyone know they were trying to assist disaster areas...but if individuals called and requested they report, they could have done it. A lot of us got the runaround when we tried to find out what was going on. My guess is you'll see them reporting soon, if you haven't already.
JaySean2, I think you'll see a report soon. Within a week of my 'dispute', Cap1 updated at all CRAs (first week of November) and they updated again at their 'usual' time after the statement closed (last week).
Maybe they were trying to be helpful to those impacted by the storms, but it definitely caused issues for some of us.
Mine hadn't reported since August either and today I got an alert that a card that had been inactive for 3 months has reported which was my Capital One card so I think they are catching up and finally starting to report again. Just thought I'd give the heads up.
I too was told it was a storm(s) issue and was advised that they would start reporting in Dec 2017 on regular reporting dates for your previous statement cycle. Their reasoning was that they did not want to report folks late that had problems and thus did not report to anyone. When I asked if they were giving folks a break on payments, they agreed but for those in affected areas. Others just didn't get reported. When I suggested this procedure should be on a voluntary basis for those people that need it, the supervisor agreed but stated the decision was made at high levels. For those of us that made our payments on time, we will eventually see all months reported. For those who received a payment hiatus, they will only see their payments from December 2017 onward. I was told the interest however, did still accrue for those who got the break.

So frustrating that they didn't just own up to this from the beginning! I called several times, only to be told it was a credit bureau issue. Really wish they had just been honest with me.
Same here... None of my Capital One cards have reported since August 2017 to any of the CBs. Because this is happening on all three CBs that means it is Capital One!
My newest Cap1 card reported but my Cap1 auto hasn't reported since August.
