How is it discrimination? Women have to pay child support too.

LOL. I think you're going a bit overboard there. Do a search of your states domestic relations child support liens. You'll see it's not so rare anymore. Regardless, why wouldn't a man want to provide financial support for his children? I'm a guy btw who is a custodial parent receiving child support garnished from the mothers income.
SkipS1965 wrote:I had 5 judgements entered for back child support from 1998 to 2000. I was making payments and my tax returns were taken until 2005 when the last $375 was paid. the judgements were due to fall off over the past 2 years with the last one coming off in January of 2007. Now all five judgements are showing as "PAID TAX LIENS" and won't come off until 2012. Anything I can do about this???SkipIn order for the tax returns to be seized there must be a judgement you have two things on your report. On is a judgement, the other is a satified lien as a result of those judgements, both are indedendant of each other. It just goes to speak of the lenghts that were gone to to collect the arrears support. Tax liens stay on the report for 10 years just like BKs. Its kinda like a creditor reporting you 180 days past due, then it goes to collections. They are two very different things and both are valid entries
