Yes it was mailed CMRRR, I will keep all info, I even called Regions HQ and asked to speak to collections and they said they have nothing past due with me???

Just a little update with this thread; After 3 DV letters and all they could provide was my signature on a checking account form, which proved nothing as to how I owed them, they sent me a letter stating they are closing the account. So thank you to this forum for giving me the direction to get this deleted!

Ol' Mitch is definitely one of the more repellent CA's around, or attorney shill, whatever exactly these "Law Offices" actually are.


eta: oh, and be sure to save all your records from this little adventure. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to sell your "account" to the next junk debt collector.

I doubt they are really "attorneys" just from the wording of the responses I received. Oh well closed case now!

they have an attorney they prolly lease a name from.  its enough for them to claim that they are law offices.  then they sound scarier.

I received a letter from them last year. I just sent them a dv letter. Never heard from them since. I think they are A COLLECTIONS agency using the name for a law office. I think these collections company try to get people that no any better lucky we have this forum to inform us how to deal with them when you know you don't owe the company and the item is not yours..
