when I first checked my scores they where low

TU- 1/5/08 was 657 

checked again 2/05 one collection removed and an account reported that was not reporting

2/05/     664,

 but I dont think this is correct, I applied for a mortgage and the score was 674 on their report?

so mortgage scores and TU dont have the same reporting system? as far as I can see

Teresa, where did you get those TU scores? If you got them directly from TU, then they are FAKOs (unless you got them at transunioncs.com).

I got my scores from myfico.

What was the time difference between the point that you pulled your myfico TU score of 664 and got the mortgage TU FICO score of 674?

I was told by the loan officer, that when they pull credit, it is often times higher, than when either you, or I pull credit......go figure???

Things could change in a week and a half. FICO scores are dynamic. Information can change from one minute to another if a TL updates or an inquiry takes place, an account ages to a new b-day, etc. A 10 point swing in a week and a half is not unheard of. If you are curious, and you have your mortgage report, sit them side by side and compare them with a magnifying glass and fine-toothed comb to search for differences.

At myfico.com, we get the classic reports, which is what the mortgage reports are. I have been in the banking industry for 15 years, where we pull classic scores. I have recently had my reports pulled for a mortgage as well and my mortgage scores and the myfico.com scores are identical every time. He would be right about that if WE were pulling FAKOs (which can be higher or lower than the real thing).
