Hey all,
What service and/or subscriptions do you guys use to monitor your credit score? Is the SOP to subscribe to something that only tells you something has changed, and then you buy a score, or to subscribe to something that tells you your score as well? If any of you have any product suggestions, I'd appreciate it! Thank you.
I use USAA CreditCheck Monitoring Premium. You must be a USAA to use the service. It gives you daily access to all three of your credit scores and reports. Note, the score are NOT fico scores but they are very close in most cases.

I think there is a "sticky" that has several listed and a description with price of each.
I use CreditKarma, MyFICO, and get my TU thru Walmart.
USAA is the best, in my view.
If you're not opposed to calling for a lower price, they'll often give you a year's service at 6.12 per month. When you call to cancel the service, they'll offer you the lower price. I don't like threatening to cancel things, so I just called them asking if they're open to lowering my price.
And, they were and did.
Use them all:
USAA - Great for seeing account activity across board but individual account pay status is slow
Experian - can get all three but its expensive. I use just the EX one as it shows my payment status the quickest
MyFICO - use Quarterly and EQ Scorewatch. Good combo to track changes over time of real FICO scores
Free services - well they are free (Credit Karma and Credit Sesame) Also use MyCreditInform (free with Cap1 secured card)
Don't forget Quizzle.
They will give you a free report/score every 6 months.
Just be careful what you click on, it's really a marketing site for QuickenLoans.. but if you avoid the ads it's a very decent site.
I really dont like Quizzle. Its a slick site but the updates are too infrequent (for the paid version of the site). I remember someone asking a while back...but is there a free EQ site out there?
I like USAA mnitoring but weird thing is even when new cards are added seems like my score does not change much, I added a 3k limit cu card showed up on all 3 reports by yesterday however my score did not change 1 point yes I know its a not a fico score but still
