Awesome improvement, Mustanglover.
I'm curious what the current EQ score is.... just not $20 worth, LOL! I don't have to know it until next year, anyways.
EQ is squeaky clean so the only thing that'll really affect the score is utilization. At this point, I'd rather manipulate it through accelerated payment or CLIs than opening new credit lines.
Why don't you try the Free Trial of Score Watch.......This will give you your EQ FICO
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION: When you order your free FICO® Score here, you will begin your 10-day trial membership in Score Watch®. If you don't cancel your membership within the 10-day trial period, you will be billed $14.95 for each month that you continue your membership. A three month minimum subscription applies. You may cancel your trial membership anytime within the trial period without charge.
You will not be billed unless you decide to keep Score Watch® beyond your 10-day free trial period. Your credit card information will only be used if you do not cancel prior to the end of your free trial – you can cancel at any time during your 10-day free trial. After your free trial converts, a 3 month minimum subscription applies.
Just be sure to remove the TU Standard from the Shopping Cart, before you checkout.
You can play around with the "Score Simulator" and get an idea of what kind of gains you could see if you paid your debt down.
Best of Luck!!
^ Already did a free trial.
Really wanted to support the community by getting a subscription but am holding off until there's a week or two without tons of complaints or the price comes down to around $7/month, LOL!
I'm not even curious enough about TU for apply for the WalMart Discover.
Next year I'll try a PC from Freedom to Saffire Preferred, and get the Costco Amex. Citi doesn't like to combine limits I'll sock drawer their Diamond Preferred after it hits $0. I won't really need any more credit cards.
ah OK, so much for the free trial for you then
I have a SW subscription, and could not be happier, I seem to get my alerts on time and I have no complaints.
It seems to be a YMMV type thing with SW, some members have problems, some don't, thankfully I'm one that has no problems.
