Credit Score Thank you MyFico Members

I could have never achieved this without you guys/gals, I know its not the best score, but coming from a 583 November last year, not too bad if I say so myself. A lot of hard work and opening some new accounts, paying ALL of them on time (actually early every month) and getting my util low. Thank you sooooo much!!!! My payment history would be Excellent if it wasn't for the inaccurate Charge Off listing on my report from 5 years ago Smiley Sad

I hope posting this pic is OK, I couldn't figure out how to get it to NOT link to Imageshack. Actually I figured it out woo hoo!!

Passing the 700 mark is quite a milestone and you should be very proud of your hard work. Congratulations!!

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

Thanks to all who replied!

I'm hoping that when AmEx starts to report my new Blue Cash card backdated to 91 that I might see another small score increase.

I know how it feels and congratulations man. Just remember to be wise on what you apply for and play it conservative.

Nice, now all you gotta do is have some patience and in 2 years when that charge off disappears you'll probably get a nice boost towards your goal. Smiley Tongue

Just wondering, but you never tried to dispute the inaccurate charge off?

Either way, it'll fall off the same time those hard inquries for "Too many new accounts" stops affecting you too.

Keep it up!

Yes I have tried disputing the CO several times with no luck, yet, I'm still disputing every 60 days or so, so I will still hold some hope.

The first acct I opened was 6/10 then 9/10 and two in 12/10 and the latest AmEx Blue Cash 3/11 but AmEx only pulled EX,.

I have 4 inquiries on EQ and TU and 3 on EX. I have 4 Starter Cards (500-750CL's) and now I finally have a prime card, the AmEx Blue Cash (2,000CL) and I'm (AU) on my Fathers AmEx (16,000CL opened in 84) The Blue Cash is backdated to 91 but has not been reported to the CRA's as of yet. I assume it will show up sometime around the 22-27 of this month, so I'm wondering if I should app for another AmEx once the Blue Cash shows on my CR since they only pull EX and I can probably have that one backdated to 91 as well, so neither of them will list as new accts. This way I'll have two prime cards both will list as 20 years old on my reports and the cards CLI will grow, and maybe get rid of 1 or 2 of those starter cards with AF's that the CL's will never grow.

I'm just not sure what the right "next" move is.....app for one more AmEx or garden for a year or so?????

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate any advice.
