Re: Credit Score

I know if you are declined they will tell you.

Walmart offers a free score with their card.

Re: Credit Score

I learnt that about Walmart last week, thank you.

I was just curious because if you got approved for a credit card, it would be interesting to know what was your score they approved.

Re: Credit Score

No, not by a long shot.  I don't work and live on retirement and disability pay.  I don't want to put myself in another bind lol.

You get a credit score with every CC app unless.....you are given the best terms for that card then the lender is not obligated to give you a score.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Credit Score

They do give you your score. I recently got both a Chase and an Amex card. The envelopes containing the cards had a sheet with my score and which bureau they pulled from.

Edit-Ah, what myjourney said. Didn't know that about getting the best rate. I guess I didn't lol.
