Yup. If I am understanding everything right, this is just a credit card version of what people post all the time about on Facebook (basically "Auto Correct Fails"). ACFs seem to happen most often on phones. My favorite ACFs are ones that involve sons saying appallingly racy things to their mothers. I'd give you a link except I think that it would be a violation of the TOS here on the forums. :-)

Sometimes when your browers recognizes the info you are manually entering it will match that up with saved information and if you hit enter when you are done it autofills what you have saved. To avoid that you need to not hit enter and either tab out of the field or click somewhere else on the screen.
