I thought this was not yet available to all. Where do I sign up as I don't see an option through credit.com and I have the free account.

I went to the site using the link that was provided here. Signe up with an email address for updates. I thought that I had missed my chance for the $5 trial. Last week got an email that it was my final day to sign up for the $5. Made an account and signed up. For this price I'll keep it the whole year and probably drop Experian paid membership.
@Trudy - I used https://www.credit.com/extracredit/ambassadors.html and it just told me to log in, so I did.

Thanks!
Wonder if I can get the upgrade as well... I emailed support to see if they will offer it.
edit: Support says the promo is targeted.

I did that, made an account too, and I am still waiting on that email. 🙁

@calyx did you get the five dollar deal that way?
@razzy116 wrote:How often does the credit.com new service update the credit reports? Thank you and be safe.
One thing to note for those joining the service is to know that your credit reports have to be unlocked in order for the reports to update.
I inquired with CSR as to when a person has to unlock their reports so the update occurs and this is what I've gotten so far:
As for a time frame of when to unlock your reports for your ExtraCredit update is still under investigation. I will place this ticket on hold until I receive clarification on that specific question.
It's a habit to lock/freeze your reports once you start doing so and as I and most others are wary of leaving reports open unless apping for somthing it's important to know the time frame to unlock for updates (credit.com doesn't update immediately so you can't just unlock/unfreeze update and lock/freeze).
Did any one get an update on 7/22/20 and does any one like this service better than myfico. Thank you and be safe.
For the early adopters, EQ scores have their first update now. My EQ scores dropped inexplicably, (11 points for FICO 8, 14 points for FICO 9). I wonder if the glitch that affected the NFCU score updates this month is hitting ExtraCredit too?
