@Broke_Triathlete wrote:I sent an email off to CCT inquiring about the 2 year promo that I seemed to have miss. I spoke to a lady late evening yesterday. Very nice and helpful. She said that she was making a notation on my account to extend the offer for another year when my time this year is up, so in a round about way it looks like I may have that option for 2 years.
Also she said the promotion for this ends 7/19/15. So if anyone is waiting to do this, the time is NOW!
If the promo ends on 7/19/15, why is everyone only getting 1 year?
I was told that 7/19/15 they are stopping the promotion for 1 year for $14.95. So apparently after that date you won't be able to get the deal.
I find it funny they call it a promotion when they don't advertise it and use it more as a retention offer. Which I don't believe they'll stop it. This is through Experian and it's the same customer service. They always do the same with their Experian credit tracker service. If you call to cancel, they'll give you a discounted deal to stay.

I signed up for CCT today. I called right after to cancel my Experian membership. I asked the Rep that I spoke to today to check for any promotions for the CCT account that I just started. She only offered me the one year for the 14.99 I asked her about the two years and she told me that It wasn’t available. I took the Year for the 14.99. I’m going to cancel my TU membership as well. SN.. I hope they develop an app like the Experian app. I loved that app
Yep, I'm definately going to miss the app, it was fantastic. I would think it would be easy to develop an app for CCT since the website for CCT is identical to Experian credit tracker.
just converted to 1 year @ $14.97
2 years would have rocked but, i'll take it
I just called myFICO C.S. support to cancel my monthly subscription. I was hoping they would come up with a retention offer so I mentioned the reason I'm cancelling is because of a much lower price. She said "it must be with one of the 3 credit bureau's directly", so I said no it's called "credit check total" and she said "oh" and processed the cancellation effective 7/25.
I really like the myFICO service, but they're not going to be able to compete eventually if they don't budge on the price and the number of times the credit reports can be made available. I realize I've got the retention $14.97 with CCT, but even at $24.99 myFICO is pricing themselves to high because CCT at $29.99 is a much better deal.

CCT is with one of the credit bureaus, Experian.

Technically yes, but the 3 scores are avalable 3x per month and the EX score daily. That's what I was trying to convey over the phone, the fact we can get 3 scores at better pricing.
I called in this morning to cancel during the trial period, and they offered me 50% for 5 yrs. It was through the automated cancel system. I got nervous that they would charge 5 years worth on my card in one payment so I called back. Confirmed with a live person that I will pay $14.97 per month for 60mos/5 years. Sweet deal
I just called and got the same 50% off for 24 months. Love these forums!!!!!
