Re: CreditCheckTotal

9.95 yep. I was kind of surprised due to hearing everyone here saying 14.97. I asked "That was 9.95, right" just to confirm and he said yes.

After looking looking at MyFicos page, I noticed they did some changes. It now say 30 bucks for quarterly pulls. They upped number of pulls per year but raised the price. Less than a year ago, they were only 20 bucks. 50% price increase in less than a year. Jeez

Re: Credit Check Total

You get a daily Experian report. I have one for every day since I signedn up.

Just be careful with the 3B reports past the first one. For me, any 3B reports you did the first week beyond the initial one, counted towards my next full months batch of reports.

Re: Credit Check Total

I've used their $1 trial about 6 times over maybe 3 months - about once every two weeks. Ive been able to get two pulls from all 3 CRA each time. I usually get the second pull on the last day of the trial.

Re: Credit Check Total

Also, iirc you have to wait up to 48 hours when you first sign up to get the daily ex reports. I'd have to go back and reread the fine print, but I recall it took like 2-3 days for everything to start kicking in. It's not a big deal for most people. 😆

Re: Credit Check Total

I've had experian credit tracker since about feburary this year and like it alot. I signed up for CCT about 15 hours ago, so i could find my EQ fico, noticed how similar it was to experian, and thought nothing of it. Today after reading this, i called up experian, threatened to cancel because of CCT, they claimed the only reason someone else received the long offer was because they were part of CCT for an extended period of time. I say okay, well cancel experian anyway, i'll pay for cct. I call up CCT(THE SAME EXACT NUMBER AS EXPERIAN)  to cancel and see if i get the offer, i go the automated system way, automatically offers me 50% offer for 5 years. not sure if its the automated system, or a person difference, or if it's because i had experian for the past 6 months, but either way, i now am rolling with CCT, with seems like it's basically just experian with more.

Question on CCT though, i know my experian score can/will update daily, but will the EQ and TU only updated...whatever it was...3 times a month? or is that just about receiving the report? I really don't care what my report says since i can get that from CK, i'd just like to see daily changes with my EQ when things report, rather than having to time everything out.

Edit: the rep also had no idea of any 5 year offer. She claimed the only offers there were for cct were for 1 or at most 2 years. Fwiw I had already talked experian down to 10 a month back in February and for $5 more to get the extra 2 scores is a no brainer.

OK, I'll give it a couple days and see what happens.

Re: Credit Check Total

Nicelle,

I signed up for CCT last week. I made a post about MYFICO not updating my scores in a timely fashion for me and someone mentioned CCT. I'm getting my scores updated more frequently now versus MYFICO.

Re: Credit Check Total

Also with CCT you can pull a fresh report of your 3 reports and scores once a week. That's fine with me because MYFICO wasn't updating anything for weeks at a time.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I'm liking this CCT, but I see one problem. Keeping myself from clicking the "refresh your reports for free" button every time it appears. It was there today and I wanted to hit it even though my reports are only three days old!
