Re: Credit Check Total

I agree. Checking our reports and scores will likely be an entirely different landscape in a few years.
Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
Sept 2024: EX8: 847; EQ8: 850; TU8: 848 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 821
In My Wallet: Discover $73.7K; Cap1 Venture $51.7K; Amex ED $38K; Amex Optima $2.5K; Amex Delta Gold $18K; Citi Costco $24.5K; Cap1 Plat $8.4K; Barclay $7K; Chase Amazon $6K; BoA Plat $21.6K; Citi TY Pref $22K; US Bank $4K; Dell $5K; Care Credit $6.5K. Total Revolving CL: $300K+
My UTIL: Less than 1% - Only allow about $20 a month to report, on one account. .

Re: Credit Check Total

And hopefully all our scores will be so high by then we won't be worrying about it.

Re: Credit Check Total

Oh My GOODNESS!!  I just did the $1 trial for hubby and his fico score is TU 533, Experian 496 and Equifax 512!  On Credit Karma it's 506 and 504 TU and Equifax!  CRAZY!!

Thanks for the tip of doing this! I need to do mine now! Smiley Happy

Starting all over again!

Re: Credit Check Total

Has anyone seen a difference in their scores from credit check total vs MyFico?

I just signed for up the $1 trail and it is showing my EX as 17 points lower than MyFico is showing. EQ is also showing 9 points lower on CCT. TU is the same as MyFico.

I actually cancled MyFico monitoring but it is still active for another week until my current months payment runs out.

MyFICO probably just has not updated yet. They are notorious for being "behind" frequently because of the way their update triggering is set up. CCT pulls a fresh EX report and score each day you log in, and does not rely on report changes to trigger a score recalculation.

Re: Credit Check Total

Hmm. I wonder what could have caused that much of a drop.  I don't see anything jumping out at be.  My utl had decreased a bit but I wouldn't think it would result in a 17 point drop.

Re: CreditCheckTotal

Started my trial earlier tonight and in a week or so I will call and see what they say.  Im brand new to all this stuff so is getting all 3 fico scores 3 times a month (ex daily) great? For $15 it seems so, especially for someone like me who has awful credit and just started rebuilding.  I don't even have scores yet because I have nothing in the past 6 months!  Does being an AU on a cc from july 2013 count as 6 month old credit? I doubt it since I am an AU as of yesterday unless my reports dont reflect it yet.  My dad hasnt used the cc since before I got authed so that could be why.

I find it really helpful to have the different score versions from myFICO. Does anyone miss that who switched to CCT?

I'm not currently interested in applying for a mortgage so I don't miss the extra scores. Besides, they only updated either once a year or when we ponied up more money.

It's an excellent deal. No, the AU won't count as six months since you were just added.
