I recently closed on my first house. Before doing that, I had to pay-off all old items on my CR. Unfortunately, I didn't know about getting the items deleted for payment. Everything old and past due on my report is paid off (two were paid in settlement), and I have my new house. Now I would like go about getting the old, paid-off stuff off my credit report. Is it still possible? Can I improve my score or is it too late?
