Dell Preferred Account (DPA) CLI?

Hello,

Has anyone recieved a CLI recently on their Dell Preferred Account? I recently got an automatic CLI From $4,000 to $5,500 without me asking. This is interesting because I always thought the maximum on this type of account was $5,000. During this same time I was approved for 2 AMEX cards and a Chase card with limits around $8K. I'm wondering if my app spree with those two banks may have influenced Dell to raise my credit limit.

Nonetheless, I am very happy because I was able to extend my warranty with 0% interest.

Congrats on your cli!  To answer your question, I was notified today by EX of an automatic cli to my Dell Preferred Account from $3500 to $5000.  The account had sat idle with no use since October 2021 when it was opened.  Decided to purchase some printer ink last month which I paid off before the statement cut.  It did prompt them to report to the CRA as it had not reported since October 2021.

They raised us over the years to $8,000 automatically.  Great account. We buy all our computers and related equipment from Dell.

Re: Dell Preferred Account (DPA) CLI?

I'm worried about them closing my account, is anyone here sure that I don't need much use on this account to keep it open? I opened it with a 3k SL and it increased to 4K last month auto cli. Ive spent maybe $100 on it lol.

TLDR, am I okay keeping it idle for a while?

@Boribori- Mine's been idling for 2+ years, so I would think so.

Thinking the max isn't 5k.I opened mine (which to this day hasn't been used) at $4500 and recently got an auto-cli to $6k.

Happened to me as well. It's been a few years though. Went from $2k to $5k without asking. Came in handy though
