No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
It will just show as a closed account on your credit reports for up to 10 years. Shouldn't hurt you, but if you ever have a manual review of your credit reports, the lender may inquire as to why you closed it immediately.

Ok so I could be declined for more credit for my reason for closing the account if they do a manual review? The card will be factored into my aaoa?
I doubt that a lender would decline you solely because of that, but it's possible that they may just want to know why you closed it so quickly. The card will factor into your AAoA until it disappears from your credit reports (usually, but not always, 10 years after closing the card).

You can always call Discover and request that they report deletion of the account.
They may do so in order to remove any need to thereafter review the account for possible updates or to spend time on any disputes that might be filed. Deletion clears their slate as well as yours.....
