When I go through the process to enter a dispute I am required to answer four questions about my finances after entering my information. All of these questions have nothing to do with me, they reference loans and accounts I do not have. Each time I attempt the process they are different and always reference financial instruments I have never had. When it fails it gives me a fax number to send my request in by. Is this really the only way to contact Equifax?
Same type thing with me when I try to get my free annual report online. I end up having to mail in the request. They don't seem care, from what I have read on the forum! Welcome to the forum
It seems like a shell service they set up to satify regulations.
I found this page though after some more looking: http://learn.equifax.com/credit/credit-report-disputes/
It states you may call 1-800-685-1111 to speak with a person but it is just their automated ordering service. You have to order a report through Equifax to speak with a person.
Is myFICO aware of this?
EDIT:
After more searching I found this page: http://www.equifax.com/credit-report-history/
I was able to get an agent. 1-800-437-8432
I was also checking for numbers, here is some more numbers for the future.

Hello , Equifax can be an pain in the butt to deal with when you aren't buying any of their products. They are by far the worst of the Three imo.
