I have three Comenity Cards. Boscovs, Grandin Road, and Express. I added two people as authorized buyers several months ago but the cards aren't being reported to their credit reports. I called Comenity several times and I was told that they do not report authorized buyers to the CRA's. I read several posts on here that indicated their authorized buyers are being reported. Anyone know how I can get them to report or what I can do to have them report the cards to my authorized buyers credit reports?
Just keep calling. They do report. Comenity is doing some strange things lately though. Or use other cards if its needed. Its users not buyers. Welcome to the forums.
Years ago my Comenity cards were the first I ever put my kids on. They never reported. Amex, Chase and Discover however reported them by the next billing statement.
The Comenity card is not appearing on my authorized user's account.
I've had an AU on my Comenity account for a few years now and it has never appeared on their report. I'm not sure that there is anything that can be done about it.
All of the supervisors I have been talking to have said that they do not report to the CRA's. Also I know it's usually called authorized users but Comenity refers to it as Authorized Buyers. Can anyone remember what information is collected for authorized buyers? I thought I had to submit the last 4 digits of the social from each authorized buyer along with the birthdate. Is that correct for Comenity Bank authorized buyers?
