My boyfriend has 4 cards on which he has been running balances. Having received a bonus, he is able to pay them all off. The Sweetwater Card has a $299 balance on a $4,500 credit line, and it is zero percent interest. It is set to auto pay and is down to $21 a month. What he wanted to know is if he pays off the 4 non-Synchrony cards, and leaves things on the Synchrony card, with that work for AZEO?

It might work, but it might not. There are reports of store cards being ignored as a balance-reporting card in connection with the all zero penalty.

How will I know if his score is being affected? What will show up on CreditKarma, Credit Journey or Experian?
Any MC or Visa's in his mix with Sync? If so, use that one. I believe Vantage counts them all regardless.

Nope. He has a Capital One QuickSilver MasterCard, a Bank of America Visa Customized Cash Rewards Visa, a Chase Freedom and the Synchrony Sweetwater card. He just paid off the QuickSilver card (and is going to make an additional payment to cover the interest on it today). He is going to pay off the others during the week.
