Dumb question--sorry

sorry dumb question. Which websites actually have the correct FICO not FAKO scores. I have a big difference in scores between myfico equifax and truecredit. I want to cancel truecredit but are they accurate or inaccurate. I do not want to waste my hard earned money on Fake numbers.

Thank you in advance,
AJ

Re: Dumb question--sorry

Scores from MyFico.com are real scores, TC scores are fakos.

Re: Dumb question--sorry

TrueCredit is a good service to have if you are in the repair mode. You can update every 24 hours and see what has/hasn't happened yet.

For scores, you'll need to get those here. You can get your FICO EQ at EQ's website and your FICO TU at a special TU site.

To get all 3 together, only place is here.

Anytime you are unsure, FICO scores will have the FICO trademark. FAKO scores won't have this.

ETA: Not a dumb question!

Re: Dumb question--sorry

Thank you both for this information. I am ever so greatful. So I will purchase the combination package to view all of the scores. The reason I asked was there was a huge difference in my scores and I want to buy a house soon. current scores on FICO eq is 646

truecredit has it at eq: 602, ex676, tu 661

hope when my stuff comes off, it will go up. Thanks for the advice. I am going to order the FICO from myfico.com rather than some other place. I don't want to deal with notruths but reality.

thank you both

Re: Dumb question--sorry

Before ordering your scores, always check the front page for discount codes and google "myFICO discount codes" or "myFICO promo codes".

Emails recently went about 20% of the Suze Orman kit......did you receive one? Let me know if not.

Re: Dumb question--sorry

Like the original person who asked the question, I to use True Credit which I pay for monthly & also see a somewhat large difference in my 3 scores.  They claim to pull my scores from the 3 bureaus but what makes the scores that I would get from this service more legitimate than TC?  Do you suggest I consider stopping that service?  I received a %20 off coupon for the Suze Orman FICO kit & have been thinking about that.  I've never heard her mention the TC service so now I'm wondering if I've been wasting my money with TC

Re: Dumb question--sorry

If you are repairing your credit, hang on to the truecredit for a while.  You can check it every day to see if any changes were made to your report.  That part is accurate.  However, they use a different scoring system than the true myfico scoring system, which is the scores most all lenders use.  So, use truecredit to monitor changes to your actual report, and myfico for your real credit scores.

Re: Dumb question--sorry

myFICO is the only place you can purchase all 3 FICO scores-

You don't HAVE to read the reports- they are included.

You can Buy a TU FICOScore/Report from
https://www.transunioncs.com
The score and FICO version is the same as myFICO

Scores/Report from EQ are FICO's
The score and FICO version is the same as myFICO

MyFICO is the ONLY place you can purchase EX FICO scores.

Re: Dumb question--sorry

i also use truecredit..and as far as the alerts when trying to build your credit..
i noticed that it does not send alerts when changes to your balances have been made..for example: if you have made monthly arrangements to pay off a balance, once the payment has been made and your report is updated, tc does not alert you. You would have to update the report and scroll to check for that change. Maybe its just my account. But thats something i did notice. hope that helps
