EQ went up 40 points today!

My alert said my score increased because there was new activity. It was a new credit card. I thought new credit was supposed to drop credit for a short time, then possibly increase credit over time? Does this mean my credit should increase even more? I hope so!

Did you even use it yet? I thought the score either dropped or remained the same until it was used a few times. It is a big CL?

I had a similar situation, I just had my EQ jump 39 points because a new/maxed out nautilis/bowflex reported this month.

Starting Scores: 1/1/2016
EX 600 EQ 598 TU 610
Current Fico Scores (9/2016):EX: 674 EQ: 678 TU: 689

Card has a limit of a whopping $500, but I'm hoping once I actually receive the card and activate it, that they will increase my limit.

My EQ score went up another 15 points today! From 559 on July 26th to 614 today!

Ur Utilization decreased so may-be that's the reason. I use this method to increase my scores and it works everytime.But DO NOT get carried away bec it can hurt U in the long run.

I was at 698 and opened a new card w/ CL of 15K fr NFCU and my scores shot up(EQuack) to 715! And it was the lowest of all my scores..

It's a matter of playing the game with the models..

the new CL should help raise you score, if you don't an excessive number recent inquiries, or numerous new accounts, the a new account and CL should absorb the damage done by the inquiry +some
