Good luck. I have 3 accounts on Equifax the crediting bank has told them multiple times to remove since July 2019, that I have disputed over 40 times, have reported to the BBB AND CFPB. They STILL refuse to remove them and only say to dispute items by calling customer service (have - over and over and over) or going online, create account and dispute there (have - over and over and over again). I am apparently left with taking all my info, police report, disputes and file a civil cause in court. Last rep I spoke to said it wasn't their responsibility to investigate wither or not information is being accurately reported or not (or evidently listen to the issuing bank telling them to remove it) and that it will fall off eventually. I have been actively after them since the beginning of Oct. 2019. All of the reps pretty much say it isn't their problem and can't do anything.
If you do happen to find a way to get them to do their job, please message me so I can find out how you did it. Utter BS. They need to be replaced.
