Just spent 30 minutes on the phone with equifax after i called my bank for a CLI and they said they couldnt access my report and that I had a fraud alert. Called equifax as I couldn't set up an myequifax account and got hung up on. Called back in, said there was no freeze or fraud alert and then was told I needed to send them proof of my address???. Asked about a possible split file but was told that doesn't happen. My two new leases over the past 6 months didn't show up on EQ and show up on everything else. I had also applied for an HSBC card and it came back and said they couldnt verify my identity.
Anybody have any clue whats going on or have a contact for EQ executive team? Super frustrated.

Try to call back and ask to speak to a supervisor? ..
While no guarantee's .. sometimes they can help where front line reps can't.

And fyi, split files do happen with EQ.
That's pretty much what I thought. I've got over 100 accounts and it started doing this when I went over 100.

Over 100 accounts will definitely cause a split file.
WELL! After spending two hours on the phone my issues are being addressed. I felt guilty asking to speak with a represenative in the USA but the previous agent just kept talking in circles.
Nothing was showing on their end that there was an issue until the agent tried to generate a report and score to mail to me! It then provided him with error numbers and he was able to contact the main office to discuss. And its simply due to my report size! I'd normally take that as a compliment but it will be between 10-20 days for them to completely resolve my issue. Maybe they'll wipe out my inquiries to make room LOL. The agent was super friendly and did make every effort to help and it paid off!
I will be getting a call back in the next few weeks with an update. :-) This is myfico's fault! Thanks fam! haha!
It boggles the mind that in this day and age, file size is causing problems...
Glad to hear that they are going to get it resolved. Sorry that you're having to deal with it at all.
