@AllZero I do that with Experian lol. That's how I knew my Equifax score is over 40 points higher than its saying.
Does anyone know when/why EQ scores won't update without a new report? I just looked back in my old alerts and it seems they were in Feb/March this year. I only get the MyFico subscription here and there to check on things so the lack of score updates was new to me for August/September.
Also don't know why the 2 FICO reps I've spoken with wouldn't have just spelled that out. They obviously did not know (or it really is a problem for some of us). Do other people out there get updated EQ scores throughout your subscription, not just when a report is generated?
Just checked the $1 Credit Check Total site and I am indeed 4 more points up on EQ than what MyFico says. So frustrating
@kberly69 I have gotten nowhere talking with a My Fico rep so I think I am just going to switch over to Experian before my next payment to Myfico and cancel Myfico.
@Honeykissez wrote:Has anybody had any issue with Equifax not updating the score on MyFico? I keep getting alerts for changes but my score hasn’t moved in the month I’ve had it. It’s moved on the Experian app.
@Honeykssez, I'm having the same issues. My FICO 8 score just updated and I'm quite concerned that my Equifax score(750) lags my Transunion and Experian scores by 38 and 28 points respectively. The Equifax score hasn't budged upward much in the past 2 months. In fact, when I paid one of my CC's from $6(yes $6) to $0, they dinged me 4 points while my Transunion score went up 6 points and my Experian score went up 4 points. Frustrating. Over at Creditkarma.com, Equifax is closer to the mean.
@joeyv1985 at least your Equifax is moving. Ours isn't 🤦🏽♀️

I can understand a 10-15 point difference, but 30? It doesn't make sense.
@joeyv1985 It also depends on if all 3 are reporting the same accounts

They seem to be: Mortgage, Car Loan, all 4 credit cards. Balance increase/decrease, it's all there.
Mine EQ also is not moving. The other scores (TU and EX) jumped 50 pts.
I didn't realize you need to wait for the full report each month.
Is Experian accurate for all 3 bureaus in their app? It's half the cost and their app seems nicer but I want to be able to trust it.
@Anonymous I am trying to find out also how good the Experian app is. I canceled Myfico. I had the family account so I didn't like the quarterly reports. I guess I'll have to sign up for Premier to get the updates for Eq
