Equifax!!! 🤬🤬🤬

My Equifax has not updated since October of 2019, while my TransUnion and Experian are climbing like crazy and constantly updated. I have some inaccuracies as well and I’ve called and disputed and to no avail it hasn’t changed, score is the same since October, I paid all accounts to azeo except 1 and I got a 12 point boost on Experian and a 16 point boost on TransUnion, why would Equifax not update? My TransUnion and Experian show a $9.26 balance on my discover that has a $1250 cl, $0 balance on all other cards, shows my car loan on Equifax at $49924 but yet my Experian and TransUnion shows it at $41340 which is what it really is, beginning to think of Equifax is dollar general but Experian and TransUnion is Walmart and target, my rant for the day is over........

Could have a split file.. I would call Equifax dispute line and have them look into it.  Equifax is known to split files and cause similar issues like this meaning you have two possible credit profiles with equifax and they need to either merge them or kill one off or however they handle it.  With that said they are a nightmare to deal with.  I suggest you call them on dispute phone number vs. writing them and get a supervisor on the line and explain your scenario...

@creditcuriosity I have called them, they give me the run around, “ hang on a moment while I transfer you to the correct department, oh sir you have the wrong department let me transfer you, after being transferred 3 or 4 times I get pissed off and hang up, they are the worst bureau out there and they seem to be way off compared to the other too

Agree ask for supervisor and say you think you have a split file if you are talking with a supervisor they should know what that means and explain your scenario.. trust me i have gone through and alot of others here have gone through very similiar things as yourself and hate equifax just as much as you or more.  Gotta stick it out and get tired and hang up put a few hours aside during a weekday and enjoy the waits whie they try to figure it out or ask them to put a ticket in for you and get that ticket # and hope for the best...  They are a true nightmare to work with on split files and various other issues

OP, you made this same complaint in another post on 10/12 and M_Smart007 suggested it may have to do with voluminous SPs. So my suggestion is to get all 3 of your reports for free from www.annualcreditreport.com and go over them with a fine-tooth comb to see if the SPs may be creating a problem. Or if the file is split as CreditCuriosity suggested. Or if there are any inaccuracies and/or other problems that can be identified.

Re: Equifax!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I have just pulled my three reports last week, I don’t see nothing out of the ordinary other then my score and report hasn’t updated since October through Equifax, there really isn’t a lot of sp’s on there, the most that is on there is Amex from pulling 2 or 3 times a month, I had 3 pills from amex in December, 2 pulls in November and 3 in October, only 1 from January 20 but that’s because I pulled those reports on the 10th so I still had 3 weeks of them to pull

Hate the situation you are in op but the bottomline is in order to get this situation resolved is basically two unavoidable things:

1. Patience

It drives a person mad when they have to deal with certain agencies but in order to get a problem resolved with these certain agencies it takes a great amount of patience and knowing that fact requires attempting that task when you have set aside time to navigate all of the hoops and rigamarole you are sure to encounter in your mission.

2. Perserverance

Hanging up the phone in disgust will never get the issue resolved so you must grin and bear it, bite your lip or do whatever is necessary to navigate the maze until you can eventually connect to the right person who has the authority and knowledge to address and resolve your issue.

Good look

Excellent summing up OPs situation IUsedToLurk. It definitely takes patience and  perseverance to get the system to work in one's favor. Hopefully OP will follow all of our advice and give the system time to work. Yes, OP, it can be painstakingly burdensome sometimes, but in the end the outcome is worth it.

Re: Equifax!!! 🤬🤬🤬

A 45 minute phone call today with Equifax must have done something, I reciever an email from myFICO that there was a change in my Equifax report and my score went up like 8 points or so, they also are sending me a copy of my report although I just pulled one from annual credit report.com, so I am taking all advice and proceeding with caution and patience, I appreciate all the advice from the great folks here in the forums
