Experian always gives me an error

Does anyone know why Experian always gives me an error whenever I try to purchase my credit report?

"We are unable to process your request. Please call us at 1 800 311 4769."

I have verified that all my information is correct, so I am not sure why I am receiving this error.

I've gotten that error through Experian before..as well. Not sure why though..I'm not much help but to say you're not alone in that particular problem..

I actually called in, not to that number, and spoke to a very nice young lady. She actually sent me a complimentary report, and also told me the following:

The reason why you're getting this error is because your credit report is too big. All soft pulls, hard pulls, accounts etc are taken into perspective. Because you have a large amount of soft pulls on your report, you have exceeded the size that the automated system will allow a report to be.

Re: Experian always gives me an error

I get this error all the time.  First thing I found out is that they have my old address, and kept denying me when I put in the new address.  Try a different address.

Also, found out when I was finally able to get my report, that they had made an error and dual entered my student loan as a car loan, so I was failing the verification questions every time without knowing it.

I verified all of my information is correct. But I still get the error lol.

I think that their system has blacklisted me.

Re: Experian always gives me an error

Thats the one I have to call into because all of my questions are none of the above and then I fail security questions.  I had em send it to me via mail, its pretty fancy that way Smiley Happy

Nice to know theres a reason for it.  Although it was screwing up before I restarted my credit and added a ton of soft and hard pulls. =/
