Experian attempting breakdown display = FAIL

Today, Sunday, Feb 6 2011, Experian updated their web site in an attempt to display a breakdown of payments per month.

After trying to view this with my own eyes, I think it's a failure as many items are marked as "unknown" or "no data" when I'm 100% sure there was balance information as well as payments but shows zero AND this section of the report is just difficult to read as months are repeating, etc.  This would make a lender turn up an eyebrow at first glance.

I've included 3 actual copy/pastes from my report as samples.  The second looks pretty complete, but not exactly accurate:

Balance History - The following data will appear in the following format:
account balance / date payment received / scheduled payment amount / actual amount paid
Dec 2010: $0 / December 12, 2010 / Unknown / $70
Nov 2010: $0 / September 29, 2010 / Unknown / no data
Oct 2010: $0 / September 29, 2010 / Unknown / no data
Sep 2010: $0 / no data / Unknown / no data

Balance History - The following data will appear in the following format:
account balance / date payment received / scheduled payment amount / actual amount paid
Dec 2010: $386 / December 10, 2010 / $50 / $55
Nov 2010: $435 / November 13, 2010 / $50 / $61
Oct 2010: $490 / October 19, 2010 / $50 / $71

Balance History - The following data will appear in the following format:
account balance / date payment received / scheduled payment amount / actual amount paid
Dec 2010: $0 / December 12, 2010 / Unknown / no data
Nov 2010: $0 / September 14, 2010 / Unknown / no data
Oct 2010: $0 / September 14, 2010 / Unknown / no data
Sep 2010: $0 / September 14, 2010 / Unknown / no data

Re: Experian attempting breakdown display = FAIL

It's actually the Balance History section of the Experian credit report.  Shoot, I was confused too when I first saw it.  At first glance, I saw too many words where I thought the lender placed their own comments and something went wrong somewhere.  But Experian is trying to show a breakdown of monthly payments.

Balance History used to only show a Date and Amount.  Now, they're attempting to show payment due and amount paid, etc.

I see this too!

Has anyone who pulled their Ex Report (as of about Feb. 5 or 6) seen this?

Re: Experian attempting breakdown display = FAIL

EX has been showing balance and CL history for quite some time. The balance history section is a bit messy these days, tho.

No, but it would show, for example, whether you've had your cards maxed out for a long time and only recently got your spend under control.  I wonder if this would present an issue on a manual review for a mortgage.

Starting Score: ~500 (12/01/2008)
Current Score: EQ 681 (04/05/13); TU 98 728 (01/06/12), TU 08? 760 (provided by Barclay 1/2/14), TU 04 728 (lender pull 01/12/12); EX 742 (lender pull 01/12/12)
Goal Score: 720

Exactly!  That's my concern... a manual review.  We all know Balance History and a dollar amount has always been shown, but with this new and inaccurate and/or incomplete break-down, it will make you do the RCA dog head-turn.

And, if I do the head-turn just imagine what the lender will do.   Noooo, I don't want to imagine that (bad thoughts go away... think of my happy place).
